Abstract

|
Heterotopias are collections of normal neurons in abnormal locations that result from arrest of radial migration of neurons. On the basis of MR appearance, Heterotopia devided into three groups: those with subependymal heterotopias. focal
subcortical
heterotopias, and diffuse heterotopias. Diffuse heterotopia include band heterotopia and laminar heterotopia.
